Most real estate agents work alone, performing dozens of tasks required to complete a transaction. Leslie Edwards pioneered the Team concept in the early 1980’s and has spent the past twenty years upgrading and developing her Team.
Today, Team Edwards consists of Leslie Edwards, Team Leader, three licensed real estate professionals, two office assistants and a courier. Hiring an agent who works with a Team offers many advantages to you, the Seller.
Leslie Edwards spends her time doing what she refers to as “A” activities, which include meeting with sellers to list property, showing her own listings, negotiating contracts, prospecting for business and solving problems. All other tasks are delegated to a Team member.
Team members are specialists in their departments, assuring the most qualified person is attending to every aspect of the transaction.
Team members are in the office every day from 8:30 AM until 5 PM to service our clients, providing what they refer to as “Instant Service”. The goal of the Team is to handle each call when it comes in and to avoid having to take a message whenever possible.
Three licensed Buyer Specialists are available to answer buyer calls, insuring that buyers are not lost because they refuse to leave a number. Buyers may call several agents before they actually get one on the phone. With six licensed Team members, buyers calling about your house never have to wait for information.
A state of the art phone system allows quick connection to a licensed Buyer’s Specialist making the Team’s conversion rate higher than the industry average.
The Team is not in place to screen Leslie’s phone calls. The Team actually makes it possible for Leslie Edwards to meet with and talk to more clients. People are often surprised when they call her direct number and Leslie Edwards answers her own phone. Leslie’s goal is to answer the phone first any time she is in the office and not with a client.
